"

The team treated our 1920s Queenslander like a museum piece. Every cornice, every weatherboard. Three years on the exterior still looks like the day they finished. I won't use anyone else.

Why Coral Coast

The difference is in how the job is prepped.

01

Prep is 70% of the work

Most paint failures aren't paint failures — they're prep failures. We sand, fill and prime every surface before the topcoat goes on.

02

Dulux Accredited since 2004

One of less than 1,200 painters in Australia accredited by Dulux. Every interior and exterior comes with a 5-year Dulux warranty.

03

Tropical-climate specialists

We use elastomeric coatings on render, UV inhibitors on north-facing walls, and Acratex-rated paints on roofs. The cheap stuff fades in two summers.

04

Clean job sites, every day

Drop sheets on furniture, shoe covers on the floor, rubbish removed daily. Same standard whether it's a heritage home or a rental refresh.

Service Areas

Painting Townsville and surrounds.

From the heritage homes on The Strand to the new builds in Idalia — we work right across greater Townsville.

Questions

Things our clients ask before booking.

A standard Townsville three-bedroom exterior takes 7–10 working days from start to finish, weather depending. We start with high-pressure washing and any timber repairs, then mask, prime, undercoat, and two topcoats. We work in dry-season conditions wherever possible — the paint cures better.

Primarily Dulux — we're a Dulux Accredited Painter, and the 5-year warranty on interior and exterior work requires Dulux paint. We also use Wattyl Solagard for high-UV exteriors, and Acratex membrane systems for roof painting. We don't use trade-only "premium" brands you've never heard of.

Yes — every quote over $5,000 includes a free 1-hour colour consultation with our in-house Dulux colour specialist. We paint sample swatches directly onto your walls (not just A4 cards) so you can see how the colour reads in your light at different times of day.

Dry season (May to October) is ideal for exteriors — lower humidity means better paint cure and less wet-day disruption. Interiors can be done any time of year. We book up months ahead for May–August, so if you want a dry-season exterior, get in touch in February or March.

It is — and it's backed by Dulux, not just us. If the paint fails (cracking, flaking, peeling, fading beyond spec) within 5 years on an exterior or interior we've completed, Dulux supplies the replacement paint and we cover the labour. Full warranty documentation goes to you at handover.
